Most beautiful hotel I have ever been at. We came to this hotel to evacuate from Hurricane Milton and they were so accommodating. Everyone right down to the Janitorial staff made our stay so comfortable. You have a valet there at the front who not only parks your car but helps you with your bags, takes them to the room, opens the hotel door every time you enter and makes sure all your needs are met. The front desk goes above and beyond to accommodate, they give next level customer service and really make you feel welcome. The bar is beautiful and the drinks are amazing! The restaurant 😍 I cannot express the level of care they put into every detail, they are simply amazing. In the midst of a tragedy, they turned every opportunity into a positive welcoming experience. And the price for the Grade A level customer service and quality of the room you get is TOP NOTCH. I will be back and I will stay here every time I come to visit. There is no better hotel in Savannah, this is it! The rooms are big, the beds are beyond comfortable, and the room is stocked with a bar, snacks, and drinks to mix with your spirits. I can't recommend this hotel enough!!!!! I've stayed in 4 diamond hotels that aren't as nice as this. Location is also really fantastic, it is within walking distance of everything, we never once pulled our car to drive anywhere. The view and local is breathtaking. This is a must stay if traveling to Savannah

Hotel Bardo is drop dead gorgeous. Staff was so welcoming on arrival, and I’m still dying over the decor throughout the property. We were so thankful we chose this location versus staying down by the water. The hotel is directly across from Forsyth Park and a really lovely walk from all the shops and restaurants. We never got in the car again after checking in, and just chose to walk everywhere for the two days we were in town! Parking is valet only but just roll with it- they park all the vehicles in a gated lot from what we could see. It is what it is. Be aware that the city of Savannah has a lot of events, and the morning we checked out, there was a 5k happening outside the property. No big deal for us, but an absolutely heinous guest was berating the check in staff about the valet parking drop off/pick up changes and being insanely ugly. The staff was being so calm, but gosh, it was uncalled for. I hope she reads this and feels ridiculous. Loved our stay so much that I’m coming back this month with my sister! Thanks again!

Each day until 11:00 am the lobby bar was set up with an assortment of pastries, fresh hot coffee, teas, and several types of dairy and nondairy milks. There was a house car that drove you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel free of charge. There was a refrigerated still and sparking water station on each floor. Centrally located across from a huge park and they offered free bikes for both adults and children. The weekend morning yoga and Pilates were expertly instructed in a beautiful indoor setting. On Saturday during the day there was a complimentary gelato and sorbet station by the pool. Every staff member that we interacted with was incredibly friendly. The room was in pristine condition each day after housekeeping service, they provided robes, slippers, umbrellas, a safe, a mini fridge, and several types of Nespresso pods. Every single inch of the hotel was so beautifully and tastefully decorated. It was a work of art, I’m still in awe of our experience.

Staff is still very inexperienced, although cheerful and trying hard. No concierge and limited knowledge of area restaurants or ability to make reservations. Limited knowledge of local transportation (to airport, eg) and the house driver was neither around nor available. Food at St Bibiana was mediocre and overpriced. However, staff was very friendly and room (upgraded; thank you!) was lovely although lacking in furniture (bureau or drawers for clothes; chair for desk). Bathroom a little overdone with huge tub but small shower (?) The hotel is beautifully designed and I get it that it's still new, but to pay nearly $900 for a Friday night stay - I expect a better trained staff! I'm sure they'll work out the kinks and it will be a fabulous place to stay.

-The design including the landscaping, the lobby (i loved the oversized coffee table books), the wallpaper, the greenhouse, the pool design, the outside bar… it was all a wow Loved the location. The park is magnificent. The neighborhood restaurants and coffee shop (thanks to the night staff for giving us the suggestion of Black Rabbit which started our exploration of local establishments), the perfect walk to the South Historic Area. The cooking class experience was first class! Chef Matt is a gem! Loved the size of the rooms! Loved the fresh bottled water in the room with the quality glasses. Loved the surprise of a Dyson hairdryer!
